On Tuesday, fresh details of the incident emerged and claimed that White had been in a dispute with rapper Lil Baby just moments before being shot in the ankle.Â
According to a police report viewed by The San Francisco Standard, the incident occurred at Dahlia’s on Mission Street, where a party was being held downstairs.
Witnesses state that the altercation began when the entourage of the rapper, born Dominique Jones, attempted to enter White’s private event on the lower level.
According to reports, the argument escalated quickly before shots were fired, leaving White with a lower body wound.
The police report details the chaotic scene discovered by officers arriving at the club, noting the presence of adult entertainers and scattered dollar bills on the floor.
‘As I entered, I saw numerous scantily clad females picking up dollar bills that were strewn all over the floor. Some of the females were topless and appeared to have been adult entertainers,’ the report read.Â
Officers responding to the 4:06 a.m. shooting discovered the 49ers pass rusher with a gunshot wound to his left leg after a witness sought help from managers.
Investigators found both 9mm and .45-caliber shell casings at the scene, indicating multiple weapons may have been discharged during the chaotic nightclub fray.
White was reportedly uncooperative with officers when asked to identify the shooter. He was subsequently transported to a local hospital for medical care.Â

Initial reports by The Athletic claimed that White was not involved in the verbal altercation between two groups that preceded the gunfire at the scene.
Panic has gripped the 49ers fanbase as this marks the second time in 18 months a player has been shot in the city, following the near-fatal attack on Ricky Pearsall.
Pearsall survived a chest wound in August 2024, and the team is now praying for a similar miracle recovery for White as he begins a lengthy rehabilitation process.
Lil Baby, a Grammy-winning artist whose album ‘WHAM’ topped the Billboard 200, had been at Super Bowl LX on Sunday night before performing a concert and later arriving at the club with his entourage.
A witness interviewed by police confirmed that Jones’ entourage was on the main floor and tried to enter the private area, sparking the argument with the player.
White was acquired by the San Francisco 49ers in a trade with the New England Patriots last year, adding depth to a defensive line known for aggressive pressure.
The 6-foot-5, 285-pound defensive end was originally selected by New England in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft following a standout career at Georgia Tech.
