Authorities have disclosed critical information regarding Nancy Guthrie’s health, highlighting her reliance on daily medication for survival. As the search efforts persist, there is growing concern that she may be without her necessary medication.
During a press briefing on February 2, Nanos expressed, “We are dealing with an 84-year-old woman who has several physical ailments and requires daily medication. Without it, her condition could become life-threatening within 24 hours.”
He further urged the public, “If anyone has any information, has seen or heard anything, please reach out to us immediately. Dial 911. We are trying to prevent another tragic outcome and desperately need assistance.”
Despite her physical limitations, Nanos reassured that Nancy’s mental faculties remain sharp. The community continues to rally in hopes of her safe return.
While Nancy’s physical health has been limited for some time, Nanos emphasized that her cognitive abilities are quite strong.
“Nancy Guthrie is of a great sound mind,” Nanos explained. “This is not dementia-related. She is as sharp as a tack. The family wants everybody to know this isn’t somebody who just wandered off. Her physical limits are based on just age.”
As the investigation into Nancy’s disappearance continues, Nanos shared his hopes for Nancy’s safe return.
“I hope we find her safe and sound,” he emphasized, “but we cannot ignore what’s in front of us.”
