The Federal Bureau of Investigation has released photographs to the public in an effort to locate the suspect involved in the abduction of Nancy Guthrie, the mother of prominent television host Savannah Guthrie.

On Tuesday, February 10, FBI Director Kash Patel took to the social media platform X to distribute four black-and-white images. These images depict a man clad in a ski mask, gloves, jacket, and pants, carrying a backpack with what appears to be a weapon at his waist.

“We have new images in our ongoing search for Nancy Guthrie,” Patel announced on X. “Over the past eight days, the FBI has collaborated closely with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and our private sector partners to retrieve any lost or corrupted images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s residence. This effort was necessitated by various factors, including the removal of recording devices,” he explained.

Patel further detailed that the video footage was recovered from residual data found within backend systems. “Thanks to our partnership efforts, law enforcement has now accessed new images that were previously inaccessible. These images reveal an armed individual appearing to tamper with the camera at Nancy Guthrie’s front door on the morning of her disappearance,” he added.

Savannah, 54 — who has publicly pleaded for her mother’s return — posted the images on her Instagram, writing, “We believe she is still alive. Bring her home.” She also shared both the FBI and Pima County Sheriff Department’s contact info.

As previously reported by In Touch, Nancy Guthrie, 84, was last seen on the evening of Saturday, January 31. Evidence suggests she was taken from her home in Catalina Foothills, Arizona, on Sunday, February 1, the day she was officially reported missing.
