Lynette Bolton, a familiar face in Australian television, has shared a positive update on her health journey, confidently stating she is “as happy and healthy as can be” amid her ongoing battle with cancer.
The revelation of Lynette’s breast cancer diagnosis came as a surprise to her followers just before Christmas. The Channel Seven presenter announced she was embarking on a course of chemotherapy, a candid disclosure that resonated deeply with her audience.
Expressing her feelings to her fans, Lynette admitted, “I’m not scared, I’m mostly p***ed off.” This forthrightness underscored her determination to reevaluate what truly matters to her and her family as they look ahead to the future.
Currently, Lynette is midway through the initial stages of her treatment. Her husband, Jude Bolton, a celebrated figure from Sydney Swans, stands by her side, supporting her through this challenging time. Together, they are focusing on family, particularly their two daughters.
With genetic testing results pending, the couple is keeping their daughters’ well-being at the heart of their decisions. Lynette emphasized the importance of family in their lives, stating, “That’s a big thing,” as they navigate this journey together.
Lynette, the host of Seven’s Travel Oz show, is also a certified money coach. She has continued working throughout her treatment with the TV star having recently travelled to New Zealand to film an episode of the Travel Oz show.

The TV presenter has used her social media platform to send messages of support to others suffering with cancer, with Lynette having also revealed that she was astounded by the community she has found since announcing her diagnosis.
‘We’re not unique; lots of people are going through it,’ Lynette said to Sunrise.
‘I’m really trying to stay positive and what I love, the people going through the same thing.
‘I just want them to understand that this can be quite a lonely thing, even if you are surrounded by people, so I really appreciate the people that we have connected with and just let them know that we’re here for you as well.’
Lynette has urged others to ensure that they check their bodies and act quickly if they notice something out of the ordinary.
‘Check your bits, check all your bits, because there’s no differentiation. There’s nothing that says you will or you won’t,’ Lynette said.
‘I found my lump in the shower. It wasn’t an official check, it was just something that I noticed.
‘So please check your bits, boys, girls, parents, moles on their faces, let’s just be really proactive about keeping healthy and safe.’

Jude, a dual premiership player with the Sydney Swans, hailed his wife on Sunrise for her determination to battle the illness.
‘We’ve all been involved with charities over time, but your world just gets shaken when it’s one of your partners, and it’s: “Wow, where do you start from here”,’ he said.
‘You look at Lynette, and the way she just shows up and the stories that have come out, people saying I’m two weeks behind you, I don’t know what’s happened, the world feels like it’s been pulled from underneath me and she’s been there for them as well.
‘Because she just shows up, because she’s just there and positive about it, I think they don’t realise the gravity of what she’s going through,’ he said.
‘I think one day they will, they’ll look back and go: “Wow, mum was there the whole time and just did what she did”.
‘I think you have to (be positive). No one prepares for it, it’s just our time at the moment. We’re going to get through it; we’re halfway through the first part
‘You’ve just got to try and break it down. So many people are going through a similar struggle and it’s part of life, the highs and lows.’
