Uzor Arukwe remains in the limelight as discussions persist regarding the alleged tension in the marriage of his fellow actor, Oluwabamike Adenibuyan, popularly known as Bambam.
The online chatter about Bambam and her husband, Teddy A, gained momentum after scenes from a film featuring Bambam and Arukwe surfaced on social media, leading to widespread speculation about their relationship. Bambam later seemed to indirectly address these rumors.
Amid the online discussions, a user on platform X, named Naughti Awol, suggested that Arukwe should refrain from acting with Bambam due to the rumored issues. The user acknowledged that their comment might be inappropriate.
In response, Arukwe firmly rejected the suggestion, emphasizing that he would not heed such advice and asserting that he is not the person the commenter insinuated. His reply garnered support from numerous fans who backed his position.
Supporters argued that acting is Arukwe’s profession and main source of livelihood, and he should not be pressured to avoid collaborations with colleagues based on unsubstantiated social media gossip. They insisted that he is under no obligation to alter his career choices due to speculations surrounding Bambam and Teddy A’s marriage.
Others, however, shared a different opinion, suggesting that Arukwe might consider how the situation looks from Teddy A’s perspective, adding that dealing with such public conversations could be uncomfortable for any husband.
Earlier, Arukwe had addressed the controversy, rejecting attempts to link him to the alleged marital issues. He stated that he would not be turned into a scapegoat over claims lacking proof and urged social media users to be cautious and responsible with their comments.
