The heroes of Macclesfield’s Crystal Palace win
In January, I compiled a profile on the FA Cup heroes from Macclesfield who took to the field against Crystal Palace. Although it remained unused, I thought now would be a perfect time to share it!
MAX DEARNLEY
Max Dearnley found himself on the losing side of a Macclesfield upset during the 2023-24 season when his team, Buxton, fell in the third qualifying round, despite being in a higher division. Joining Macclesfield later that season, Dearnley was honored as the directors’ player of the year during their title-winning run that propelled them to the sixth tier.
