Shia LaBeouf, known for his roles in both television and film, is reportedly going through a tumultuous period, according to a source close to the actor.
An insider confided to In Touch that the 39-year-old former Disney Channel star is currently on a “self-destructive path.” The source attributes this downward spiral to the end of his relationship with Mia Goth more than a year ago.
Prior to their breakup, LaBeouf appeared to be thriving. The source shared that he was maintaining his sobriety, devotedly caring for their daughter, Isabel, who was born in 2022, and embracing the role of a dedicated family man.
However, the absence of Goth, who is 32, seems to have brought old struggles back to the surface. “Now that he’s alone, with Mia no longer there to guide him, he’s found himself in precarious situations,” the insider revealed. “He’s been unable to heed advice and continues to put himself at risk.”

The source expressed concern for LaBeouf’s well-being, suggesting that he seeks rehabilitation and healthier outlets for his emotional distress. They warned, “Without immediate intervention, there is genuine concern for his safety and future.”
In the past, LaBeouf has been arrested multiple times and has gone to rehab.
As In Touch previously reported, the Emmy Award winner was arrested in New Orleans on Tuesday, February 17, during Mardi Gras in the early morning hours. According to TMZ, LaBeouf allegedly started a fight with a staff member from a bar in the French Quarter that led to a brawl on the street.
Per footage of the fight obtained by the outlet, LaBeouf, who was shirtless, got punched in the face multiple times by a man while on the ground.

“We gon’ beat the f**k out you, boy. Chill!” the man shouted at one point.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene, and LaBeouf got into an ambulance, as seen in photos obtained by TMZ. LaBeouf was transported to the hospital and later arrested. He is now facing two charges of simple battery, according to the outlet.
The Hollywood Reporter reported that on Tuesday, LaBeouf had a virtual court hearing and was “released on his own recognizance.” According to the outlet, he is scheduled to appear in court on March 19.
