The depression was discovered Thursday night on the westbound lanes of I-4 in Haines City, compelling authorities to close all lanes from exit 55 to exit 58.

Within an hour, one lane was made accessible, and by Friday morning, at least one more lane was open to motorists.

Authorities have yet to disclose further information regarding the cause of the depression or the specific repairs undertaken on the highway.
