In the quiet hours of Thursday morning, a significant drug bust took place in DeBary, Volusia County, Florida, resulting in notable discoveries, as revealed by the Volusia Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities swiftly moved into action at around 5 a.m., executing a search warrant at a residence located at 201 Ancona Ave. This operation marked the beginning of a series of events that would uncover a substantial drug operation.

According to the sheriff’s office, Antoine Tillmon was found in the driveway when the SWAT team arrived. In an attempt to evade capture, Tillmon dashed inside the house, locking the door behind him. However, his escape was short-lived, as he later tried to flee out the back, only to be apprehended shortly thereafter.

During the search, detectives discovered evidence suggesting that drugs had been hastily flushed down the toilet. Despite this attempt to destroy evidence, investigators managed to retrieve cocaine from the plumbing system outside the residence.

The investigation did not end there. A subsequent search warrant executed at another property linked to Tillmon in Sanford unearthed a more significant cache of illegal substances, including cocaine, methamphetamine, and fentanyl. These findings underscore the scale of the drug operation Tillmon was allegedly involved in.

As a result, Tillmon now faces charges of violating probation, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to sell, tampering with evidence, and obstruction of an officer without violence.

“Tillmon was already on felony probation until 2031 for trafficking in heroin,” deputies wrote. “His new charges have him back in custody with no bond.
