This week, Savannah Chrisley wrapped up her guest hosting duties on The View after a lively stint, leaving her mark and forming an unexpected connection with one of the show’s regulars.

During Friday’s episode, Joy Behar took a moment to acknowledge Chrisley’s departure, noting that it was her “last day, for now.” In response, Chrisley expressed her gratitude for the opportunity.

“I just want to thank you all for giving me a voice and allowing me to sit at the table, and believe totally differently, but have conversations that are hard and respectful,” Chrisley said. “It’s the moments off-camera that people don’t get to see where we really do have more in common than we are different.”

Adding a touch of humor to the farewell, Behar remarked, “Haven’t we been fun?”

Chrisley quickly responded with a laugh, “You have been so fun! And you haven’t gotten fired from this job!”

Sunny Hostin chimed in to say that she and Chrisley “have a lot in common,” though Sara Haines teased that “the love affair with Joy is the most unpredictable thing” for Chrisley, as well as other guest hosts.

“When people leave here, they say, ‘Oh my God, Joy!’ And they’re like, ‘Wait, tell me.’ Joy gives the best material off-camera because it’s not appropriate for television,” she said.

Ana Navarro joked, “You mean she gives material on television that’s not appropriate for television!”

Chrisley agreed with Haines, revealing that she told her father Todd Chrisley just as much.

“I told my father. I was like, ‘Joy is my favorite.’ He starts dying laughing,” she recalled. “And he’s like, ‘That’s unexpected! I love it.’”

Navarro added, “I’m glad we’ve gone through a week and nobody needs electroshock therapy.”

Behar shared her praise for Chrisley, telling the reality TV alum that she was “very good and very sweet.”

“We all like you very much,” she continued. “I’m happy to have had you here.”

Chrisley kicked off the lineup of guest hosts filling in for Alyssa Farah Griffin during her maternity leave, which includes Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Abby Huntsman, Amanda Carpenter, Sheryl Underwood, and Whitney Cummings.

The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
