Four People Hurt in Shooting at Jacksonville Eastside Street Party

Two men and two women, all between the ages of 34 and 43, are recuperating after sustaining injuries in a shooting incident at a street gathering.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A street party on Jacksonville’s Eastside turned tragic as four individuals are now under medical care due to a shooting that occurred there.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reported that the incident unfolded around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday. Officers arrived at the scene on Jessie Street, where they discovered a 34-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound. The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue swiftly transported her to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Subsequently, authorities noted that three additional victims—two men and another woman, aged between 37 and 43—arrived at a hospital with similar injuries.

According to the JSO, all four individuals were injured in the vicinity of the street party, originating from the same location as the initial 34-year-old victim.

All four people are recovering from non-life-threatening injuries and are stable.

The Robbery and Violent Crimes detectives, along with JSO Crime Scene detectives, are processing the scene and are attempting to look for a suspect and motive in the shooting.
