The individual who was fatally shot by the Secret Service after unlawfully entering Mar-a-Lago, carrying a shotgun and a gas can, is linked to a family plagued by misfortune. This incident took place at Trump’s $350 million estate during the night.

Austin Tucker Martin, aged 21, was the youngest of three siblings residing with their parents in a $1.1 million residence in Cameron, North Carolina.

Known by his middle name, Tucker, Martin had a criminal background prior to his armed intrusion at Mar-a-Lago. Compounding the family’s distress, they had previously faced the tragic death of his sister two years earlier, as reported by the Daily Mail.

The family’s ordeal began in the summer of 2023 when Tucker’s older sister, Caitlin, perished in a devastating head-on collision.

“Having already lost one child in a tragic car accident two years ago, losing another is unimaginably painful for them,” a family friend expressed on Sunday.

Caitlin, 21, was hit head-on by a Ford F-150 truck on US 1 near Vass, North Carolina.

Cops said the 17-year-old truck driver didn’t have his headlights on when Martin entered a dimly-lit intersection at 8:30pm on August 23, 2023.

He smashed into her Toyota 4Runner with such force that it flipped over a guardrail and landed in a ditch, according to a report in The Pilot, a local newspaper.

Martin was taken to the hospital but didn’t survive. The driver of the Ford was treated for minor injuries.

Two years before he was shot and killed attempting to break into Mar-a-Lago, Austin Tucker Martin’s (right) sister, Caitlin Renea Martin (second from right)  tragically died in a car crash. The surviving family members are his mother Melissa (center), father Joshua (second from left) and his brother Jacob (left)

There were no charges filed in the immediate aftermath although the North Carolina Highway Patrol was said to be investigating the collision.

Her obituary read: ‘She loved her cats Meatball and “Juice.” She was brave and adventurous, recently trying her hand at skateboarding which resulted in a broken wrist.

‘She was greatly loved by her family and friends and we have all been blessed to have her for the short time she was with us.’

Panic ripped through mother Melissa Martin’s inner circle when she realized her youngest son, 21-year-old Tucker, was missing on Saturday night.

He’d left home at 1pm on February 21, and made final contact just before 8pm. Unbeknownst to his family, Tucker was driving his Volkswagen Tiguan to Mar-a-Lago – some 700 miles away – stopping to buy a shotgun on his ten-hour ride.

Frantic messages and missing posters circulated through the Cameron community, with mom Melissa’s desperate friends attempting to track down her youngest son.

Melissa was still reposting content in a bid to find Tucker, when he had already been shot dead on the lawn near Mar-a-Lago’s north gate hours before.

Martin’s brother, Jacob Cade Martin, 23, even made his first Instagram post and story to spread information about the search, captioning it, ‘That first post feeling.’

Jacob, who was training to join the Army, is now the only surviving child in the family.

The beaming family-of-five’s final photo together was posted by mom Melissa on June 9, 2023, celebrating the boys’ graduation from Union Pines High School.

Caitlin died in the crash just two months later – and Tucker was neutralized by the Secret Service on February 22.

Law enforcement sources close to the case told the Daily Mail that Tucker has a criminal history, though the exact details were not immediately clear.

After sister Caitlin’s untimely death in 2023, their devastated mother launched an Instagram account in her honor which is dedicated to ‘spreading joy and positivity by hiding rocks around the world.’

‘This is my beautiful daughter Caitlin. AKA Caitybug. She loved parks and gardens. She loved animals. She was sweet to everyone and shy until you got to know her,’ Melissa wrote.

‘She had a wicked sense of humor and loved unique and odd things. She loved fall and Halloween. She loved music and concerts and as little as she was, you’d find her in the mosh pit. She was fearless. She was adventurous. She was kind.’

The mother added, ‘She saw wonder in everything through the eyes of a child, yet sometimes had the wisdom of ages. She was an old soul living as if every experience was a great adventure.

‘Gone too soon by the careless actions of another. I will never forget. I will hold strong to your memory. I will never stop telling stories of my sweet girl so that her spirit lives on. I love you forever my angel. You and Papa keep the mischief down till we get there.’
