TAYLORVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) — A Taylorville resident previously charged with stealing a vehicle was recently released before trial. However, mere days after his release, Taylorville Police apprehended him again, this time linked to a different vehicle theft.
According to a Facebook update from the Taylorville Police, officers were alerted to the theft of a Chevy Suburban on Friday evening. Merely 30 minutes later, a 2026 Chevy Tahoe was reported stolen from the premises of St. Mary’s School.
