A disturbing incident unfolded in Kentucky when a man was taken into custody following allegations of engaging in sexual activity with a deceased deer along a highway. This bizarre and unsettling event garnered attention after a concerned motorist alerted authorities.

On the evening of February 21, a motorist dialed 911 after reportedly witnessing the shocking scene taking place on the side of Phillip Stone Way in Central City. According to a uniform citation obtained by Oxygen from the Circuit Court Clerk, law enforcement was promptly dispatched to the location.

Upon arrival, officers noticed a man matching the description provided by the witness. This individual was seen walking with his pants around his knees, blood on his hands, and displaying other disturbing signs that corroborated the report. Additionally, an unspecified substance was visible on his facial hair, while deer fur clung to the lower portion of his hoodie. Blood stains were also evident on the genital area of his boxers, adding to the grisly evidence.

The citation identified the suspect as Allen Lynne Osborne. He was apprehended approximately thirty minutes later, not far from where the alleged crime occurred. During processing at the jail, authorities found more incriminating evidence, including blood and deer fur on Osborne’s genitals and surrounding pubic area, as detailed in the citation.

Osborne now faces felony charges for sexual crimes against animals, as recorded in court documents reviewed by Oxygen. At this time, it remains unclear whether Osborne has entered a formal plea regarding the charges.

“This is a first for me—and I’ve been here for 21 years,” Central City Police Chief Jason Lindsey told Oxygen, adding that if Osborne is convicted of the charge, he could face anywhere from one to five years in prison.

Though unclear, Lindsey believed the deer may have already been deceased during the alleged abuse, after it was hit by a vehicle in the road a few hours prior.

Osborne was booked into the Muhlenberg County Detention Center. It is unclear how Osborne plans to enter his plea.

A spokesperson from the Department of Public Advocacy told Oxygen that Osborne has not yet been assigned a defense attorney.
