Vanessa Trump and Tiger Woods: Unveiling the Awkward Moments at Their Latest Public Appearance

Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump seemed to exhibit an “awkward and cautious” demeanor towards each other during a rare public show of affection, according to insights from a body language expert.

A video uploaded to TikTok on Monday captured the renowned golfer, aged 50, alongside his model partner, 48, as they posed for photos at the Genesis Invitational, hosted at Riviera Country Club near Los Angeles, California.

The clip showed Vanessa Trump leaning her head close to Woods’ shoulder and wrapping her arms around him as he smiled for the camera. They were then joined by her daughter, Kai Trump, for more photos.

Body language specialist Judi James, however, noted that the couple’s public interaction seemed “performative” and lacked genuine signs of happiness.

James further suggested that Vanessa Trump appeared to engage in a “possessive” display during the encounter.

Speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail, James described the moment as an ‘awkward-looking body language display for the cameras,’ adding that Woods adopted a ‘lightning smile’ that radiated ‘no really authentic signals of happiness or delight.’

James said: ‘His expression appears wary after he finishes his solo posing and prepares to immerse himself in the family stuff.

‘Vanessa arrives “oven ready” with a beaming smile on her face and her arm held out in an announcement gesture to signal intention to adopt a loving and affectionate look.

‘She flicks her hair back over her shoulders in a breezy preparation of posing here but it is a while before the couple’s smiles achieve a mirrored look and Woods continues to look a little awkward while Vanessa appears in charge of the posing and the choreography.’

James observed that Trump tried to showcase a strong family unit by inviting her daughter, 18, into the photograph.

‘She waves her daughter into shot to create the suggestion of a strong family unit and we can see Vanessa upgrade the emotional content by forming a possessive ritual with her arms while tilting her head in towards Woods in an act of closeness and trust,’ she continued.

‘The final money shot will look like a close, loving family photo although the building of the pose throws up signals of awkwardness and even some wariness.’

Woods and Trump went public with their romance last March.

Before finding each other, she was married to President Donald Trump’s eldest child, Don Jr, with whom she shares five children.

They wed in 2005 before eventually separating 13 years later with Trump filing for an uncontested divorce in 2018.

Meanwhile Woods’ love life has been a highly controversial one over the years, with a string of highly public romances.

Woods spent his lavish 50th birthday celebrations in January cozied up to Trump, according to an insider 

He first met Swedish model Elin Nordegren in 2001, before proposing two years later. The couple then made it official at a lavish wedding the following year.

They welcomed daughter Sam in 2007 and son Charlie in 2009, a year prior to the infamous sex scandal that brought their marriage crashing down in shocking fashion.

Nordegren divorced Woods in 2010 after six years of marriage when she discovered the golfing great was cheating on her during Thanksgiving week.

Woods and Trump’s latest outing couldn’t be further from their previous loved-up display at his 50th birthday celebrations last month.

Fifteen-time major winner Woods, who turned 50 in December, toasted the milestone in a lavish bash in January as a co-celebration of 30 years of his charitable foundation. 

The opulent party, which took place at The Breakers hotel in the billionaire enclave of Palm Beach, Florida, hosted 300 VIP guests who enjoyed a feast that honored the sporting great’s five Masters victories. 

And while Woods mingled with the star-studded guest list, he reportedly spent a lot of the night cozied up to Trump. 

‘Tiger was with Vanessa but also busy talking to people he knows from the charity,’ a source told People Magazine.  

‘There was some serious partying going down all night by the philanthropists and other high profile guests,’ they continued.

‘They seemed to have a great time,’ the source added.
