The show has unveiled a preview of her performance, showcasing a classic hit from the iconic girl group comprising Mel B (Scary Spice), Melanie C (Sporty Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), and Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice). The season has seen the familiar faces of host Nick Cannon, alongside panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and Rita Ora.

Crane first appeared during Clueless Night as a Wild Card contestant, delivering a striking rendition of Whitney Houston’s “It’s Not Right But It’s Okay,” complete with dynamic dance choreography. Crane made her debut on Clueless Night as a Wild Card contestant, singing a powerful version of “It’s Not Right But It’s Okay” by Whitney Houston, which featured some fierce dance moves. The Masked Singer panelists were stumped when they tried to guess who she was, offering Misty Copeland and Mýa (Robin) and Ashanti (Jenny) for her identity. Now, they’ll have a second chance to figure out who Crane is on Spice Girls Night, along with guest panelist Taraji P. Henson, who competed as Scarab earlier in the season.

The Masked Singer Season 14’s Crane Will Sing A Spice Girls Classic

In a Masked Singer season 14 Spice Girls Night clip shared by The Singing Crane via YouTube, Crane sang a sensational rendition of “Say You’ll Be There” by the girl group. The 1996 song was the second single from the Spice Girls’ debut album, Spice. It was certified 2X platinum in the United Kingdom, and gold in the United States, Australia, Belgium, France, New Zealand, and Norway. Crane danced again in her performance, with a dance break in the middle of the song.

In the comments section of Crane’s “Say You’ll Be There” video, The Masked Singer fans gushed about her fantastic performance. Many called her a frontrunner and hoped to see her win and take home the Golden Mask Trophy. They praised her for her singing and dancing. They felt that Crane was the whole package.

The Masked Singer fans also had some guesses about Crane’s true identity. A few of them were absolutely convinced that she was singer Normani, who got her start with another iconic girl group, Fifth Harmony. Another fan speculated that maybe Crane was Normani’s fellow Fifth Harmony member, Lauren Jauregi.

A different viewer took another path and wondered if Crane could be one of the actual Spice Girls, either Melanie C (Sporty Spice) or Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice). However, this would be highly unlikely. No contestant has ever joined The Masked Singer and competed with their own song before. Another fan thought that she sounded a little bit like former Masked Singer panelist Nicole Scherzinger, who left the show after ten seasons in 2023.

The Masked Singer season 14 Spice Girls Night is certain to be a spectacular celebration of the group’s music. Crane will be competing against two other incredibly talented singers, Pugcasso and Snow Cone, so it’ll be an epic night of entertainment. With her impressive performance of “Say You’ll Be There,” it seems that Crane will be there on The Masked Singer for a long time to come.

The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
