JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — Authorities from the Johnson City Police Department have detained a woman from Greeneville, charging her with aggravated assault and aggravated child abuse. The charges stem from an incident where she allegedly struck a man with her car and almost collided with a child. The altercation reportedly began over a disagreement regarding a parking space at a local business.
Details provided by the JCPD indicate that the incident occurred at 3111 Browns Mill Road on Sunday, just before 3 p.m. Initially, officers were dispatched to the scene following reports of a “traffic collision.”
