TUSCULUM, Tenn. (WJHL) – Tusculum University is set to host an event aimed at demystifying artificial intelligence for the community. This forthcoming gathering provides an opportunity for locals to delve into AI’s real-world applications.
The Appalachian AI Summit is scheduled for Wednesday, March 11, running from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. It will take place at the university’s Meen Center.
According to an announcement, the summit will gather an array of participants including business leaders, educators, workforce partners, nonprofit representatives, and students. The goal is to explore the current use of AI technology and its implications for leadership roles, workforce innovation, and economic advancement within the Appalachian region.
Attendees can look forward to insights from several prominent experts in the AI field, who will offer keynote speeches and engage in breakout discussions.
The event is complimentary for nonprofit entities, students, and educators, while others can join for a fee of $49.
