Skai Jackson is addressing swirling rumors concerning Deondre Burgin, also known as Yerky Yerky, who is alleged to be the father of her child.
This week, the actress took to her Instagram Stories to counter claims made by an X user, TommyGoBrazy. The user had alleged that Jackson expressed “regret” over Burgin and purportedly confessed to sending him $10,000 monthly while he serves time in prison.
The post on X claimed, “Skai Jackson talks about regretting her child’s father (Yerky Yerky) and wishes she could turn back time, admitting she still sends him $10k monthly during his incarceration,” accompanied by a quote suggesting, “At the end of the day, we share a child, and I want my son to have both parents in his life.”
As the post gained traction, Jackson swiftly responded via her Instagram Stories.
“I typically remain silent on these matters, but please don’t believe anything TommyGoBrazy tweets and spreads to the blogs,” she clarified. “Using my videos to create a fake headline is unacceptable. This is the fifth incident, and I’ve had enough. Since this persists, I will involve my lawyer. I never made such statements, thank you!”
In the post shared on X, the caption read, “Skai Jackson speaks on how she regrets her baby’s father (Yerky Yerky) and wishes she can go back in time and admits she still sends him $10k a month while he’s in prison,” followed by a quote that stated, “At the end of the day we share a kid and I want my son to have both parents in his life.”
Shortly after the post began circulating, Jackson responded in her Instagram Stories.
“I usually never speak on anything but Please don’t believe anything Tommygobrazy tweets and spreads it to the blogs,” she wrote. “Using my videos for a fake headline is not okay. This is now the 5th time and enough is enough.. Since this keeps continuing I will be getting my lawyer involved. I never said that, thank you!”

She added in a follow-up slide, “This is all this person does is create false headlines to go viral. Clearly he has nothing better to do. Please stop believing everything you see online! I would like to be left alone. Anyways, have a great day guys.”
The original X post also featured a brief video clip of Jackson speaking, along with added context from users noting that she had not made the statements referenced in the headline.
Jackson and Burgin welcomed their son, Kasai, in January 2025. In May 2025, she filed for a restraining order against Burgin, citing allegations of domestic abuse.
