Candace Owens has launched her new investigative series, Bride of Charlie, which explores a range of conspiracy theories concerning Erika Kirk and the tragic death of her husband, Charlie Kirk.
Charlie, aged 31, was fatally shot at a public event last September. Following his death, his wife Erika, 37, ascended to the role of CEO at Turning Point USA. This transition has sparked a series of theories from Owens, 36, regarding the circumstances surrounding Charlie’s death and Erika’s subsequent rise in the organization.
Her new series opens with her alleging “something is not right with Erika Kirk” — but ultimately fails to pinpoint what exactly she’s accusing her of.
Owens, who is not an investigative journalist, reportedly spent the 65-minute live stream seemingly nitpicking details about Erika’s public backstory, alleging discrepancies and even going as far as to claim her mother isn’t actually her real mom.

In one segment, Owens reportedly presents photographs of Erika as a child, claiming they depict her making “Freemason hand signs.”
Owens has encountered significant criticism for her extensive investigation into Erika, which insinuates suspicion without presenting any concrete evidence of wrongdoing. On Tuesday, February 24, Ben Shapiro, a former employer of Owens and a prominent right-wing figure, suggested on X that Erika should consider legal action against Owens.
Meghan McCain also took to X shortly after Owens released the trailer for Bride of Charlie, calling it “Pure, unadulterated, f***ing evil.”
“Who in God’s name would subject a woman whose husband was brutally assassinated in front of the whole world to this?” Shapiro wrote. “I am incredibly upset by this situation and deeply sorry that Erika and her family are being dragged through it.”
