Brandi Glanville has revealed she spent an astonishing $200,000 discovering that her breast implants were the cause of her facial disfiguration.
The former star of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” shared this significant financial outlay during a recent appearance on the “I Do, Part 2” podcast, which aired on Thursday.
The 53-year-old reality TV personality recounted how, approximately three years ago, she began feeling unwell, initially noticing symptoms around her neck and head.
Glanville described experiencing “brain fog” along with joint pain, sensations that left her feeling as though she was “100 years old.”
Prior to identifying her 20-year-old breast implants as the source of her health issues, Glanville consulted with 21 different doctors.
“I’m telling you, $200,000,” she revealed. “I had insurance, but the people at my insurance — Kaiser, let’s just say — sucks.”
“I was, like, paying out of pocket to see specialists, infectious disease doctors, you know, rheumatologists,” she continued. “Every doctor you can think of, I saw.”
She said nobody suspected it was her breast implants because her mammograms came back normal.
Eventually she took a sonogram and doctors saw that the implant in her right breast had ruptured and leaked, causing her to have silicone in both her lymph nodes.
Glanville said she immediately felt the difference after she took out her implants two weeks ago.
Earlier this month, she told TMZ that her breast implants were the cause of her mystery illness that caused shocking facial disfiguration.
“There is such a thing as breast implant illness and you really should change your implants every 10 years — I just didn’t do it,” she said. “If it’s not broke, don’t fix it! I learned a really, really hard lesson.”
Although she didn’t want to discourage women from getting breast implants, she recommended getting sonograms consistently.
The mother of two had been battling facial disfigurement for the last two years, which first started with swelling in July 2024.
She initially believed stress was to blame, but then doctors told her they thought she had a facial parasite six months later.
The model also lost several teeth due to her ailment, which she’s still working to replace.
