Shia LaBeouf found himself in legal trouble in Louisiana, with issues that predated his Mardi Gras arrest.
As revealed by police documents obtained by TMZ on Thursday, February 26, officers were called to the The Peanut Butter Falcon actor’s New Orleans home earlier in February due to an alleged domestic altercation.
The incident involved an unidentified man and his former girlfriend. According to the report, the man claimed he was hit in the groin during the dispute but chose not to seek medical attention at the time.

Coinciding with TMZ’s disclosure of the police report, The Guardian reported that the Braveheart star, aged 39, was mandated to undergo substance abuse treatment, submit to drug testing, and post a $100,000 bond. These were conditions set for his continued release following his February 17 arrest on two misdemeanor battery counts.
During court hearings, the judge reevaluated LaBeouf’s release terms after additional accusations, including allegations of making homophobic comments to two men, emerged into the record.
LaBeouf appeared in court with defense attorney Sarah Chervinsky, and the judge required bond to remain out of custody while the case is pending.
As In Touch previously reported, LaBeouf was arrested after allegedly getting into a fight outside a bar in the French Quarter area on February 17.
