This week’s episode of Saturday Night Live promises a sporty twist with a nod to the world of hockey. The ever-popular show will welcome Quinn Hughes, a star of the U.S. men’s Olympic hockey team, who is slated to make a guest appearance. This news coincides with Quinn and his brother Jack Hughes, also a celebrated hockey player, joining Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show this Monday.

According to The Athletic, Quinn’s visit to SNL aligns with the hosting debut of Connor Storrie, known for his role in Heated Rivalry. Quinn’s appearance was further confirmed by Deadline, though SNL has yet to provide additional details despite inquiries from DECIDER.

Audiences tuning in for Connor Storrie’s hosting will also enjoy a performance by musical guests Mumford & Sons. The buzz around the show includes the possibility of Jack Hughes joining his brother on stage, pending his return from the New Jersey Devils’ game against the St. Louis Blues scheduled for the same day.

Connor Storrie’s stint as host heralds a series of high-profile guests for SNL in the coming weeks. Notably, Ryan Gosling is set to grace Studio 8H on March 7 for his fourth hosting gig. Following him, Harry Styles will take the spotlight on March 14, performing dual duties as both host and musical guest, promising more entertainment and star power for the iconic comedy show.

Storrie leads SNL‘s lineup of hunky hosts over the next few weeks, with Ryan Gosling returning for his fourth time back in Studio 8H on March 7, and Harry Styles serving as both host and musical guest on March 14.

Storrie, who made his late-night debut on Late Night with Seth Meyers in January, starred as Russian hockey player Ilya Rozanov in the hit hockey romance alongside Hudson Williams. Series creator Jacob Tierney revealed that Season 2 production is set to kick off in August, with the new season slated for an April 2027 release.

Saturday Night Live airs at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT on NBC, with streaming available on Peacock.
