Nick Cannon recently enjoyed a meal with five of his 12 children at the renowned Craig’s restaurant.
In a snapshot posted on Instagram, the entertainer and host was seen sharing a table with his kids, whom he shares with Mariah Carey and Brittany Bell.
Paparazzi later captured Cannon departing the eatery, juggling several pizza boxes and a bag.
This family outing coincided with a special week for Golden Sagon, Cannon’s son with Bell, who just celebrated his ninth birthday. Although it’s unclear if the dinner was part of the birthday festivities, Golden did have a separate celebration over the weekend.
The gathering followed Abby De La Rosa’s recent comments about co-parenting within Cannon’s interconnected family during the Lovers By Shan podcast. She emphasized that the children’s well-being is always the primary focus.
“When you see the kids all together, which I’ve been very, very blessed to experience that numerous and numerous of times, it really is like, okay, my ego can’t win in this,” she said. “They deserve to know each other.”
She explained that while the children spend time together, the mothers do not communicate with one another.
“Now, as for the mothers, we don’t have any communication with each other. Like, we all live very separate lives. We’re all very individualized. There’s never no like let’s have family gatherings and Sunday dinners and things.”
De La Rosa added that Cannon typically coordinates logistics. “It’s just like Nick calls [the] shot. ‘Hey, can I bring the kids over? Hey, can they have a play date on this date?’ And we agree or we’ll send the nannies to do it. And that’s really it.”
Cannon is a father of 12. He shares twins Moroccan and Monroe with Carey; sons Golden Sagon and Rise Messiah and daughter Powerful Queen with Bell; twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin with De La Rosa; son Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi; daughter Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole; and daughter Halo Marie with Alyssa Scott. He and Scott’s son Zen died from brain cancer in December 2021.
