Oliver “Power” Grant passed away on February 23 after bravely battling pancreatic cancer, as announced by his family and the Wu-Tang Clan.
In a heartfelt Instagram post shared on Sunday, they expressed, “He fought valiantly until the very end, surrounded by his mother, children, loved ones, and closest friends.”
They continued, “It was his life’s privilege to share his love, wisdom, and brilliance with his family and community. His influence was unmatched; no one can fill the void he leaves behind.”
“Power will always be cherished, and his legacy will endure,” they added.
The family also announced that Grant’s wake is scheduled for March 13, with the funeral set for the following day in the New York City area. Further details will be shared as soon as arrangements are finalized and venues are confirmed.
