The latest Nintendo Indie World Showcase delivered an exciting lineup of game announcements from independent developers across the globe. Featuring both classic ports and fresh new titles, the indie selection for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 continues to expand impressively.

Denshattack! (Nintendo Switch 2 | June 17, 2026, Demo Available Now)

Drawing heavy inspiration from Japanese anime, Denshattack! features a vibrant and thrilling on-rails action experience. Players can expect to flip, grind, and perform parkour stunts on a train through dynamic and extravagant scenarios.
From fast-paced chase sequences to larger-than-life boss fights, this one is sure to make an impression. A free demo is available to download from the Nintendo Switch 2 eShop. Lastly, Nintendo Switch 2 players also get access to an exclusive in-game skin.
My Little Puppy (Nintendo Switch | May 29, 2026)

One of the first games shown at the Indie World Showcase was My Little Puppy from Korean indie studio Dreamotion Inc. It is an emotional and heartwarming tale about a puppy crossing the rainbow bridge. Playing as one of the developers’ own corgi in doggy heaven, you must embark on a memorable yet dangerous journey and track down his dad.
Heav Ho 2 (Nintendo Switch 1 & 2 | Summer 2026)

Given how popular the co-op party games are on the Nintendo Switch system, Heav Ho 2 looks to be another fun little gem. Up to 4 players will work together to cross hazardous levels, each with its own gimmicks, across all sorts of themes, from medieval areas to space itself.
Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault (Nintendo Switch 2 | 2026)

As revealed at the Indie World Showcase, this successor to the original Moonlighter is coming to Nintendo later this year. Players will explore dangerous ruins at night to fight foes and collect rare loot, and haul it back home to sell it during the day. This contrast of dungeon crawling and management systems will keep Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault fresh for hours to come.
Woodo (Nintendo Switch 1 & 2 | Summer 2026)

Looking for something relaxing? Woodo has you covered. This chill diorama puzzle games sees players recreate scenes piece by piece, with realistic visuals being a cherry on top. What charming story does each level have to tell? Find out more when this cozy game launches later this year.
Minishoot’ Adventures (Nintendo Switch 1 & 2 | Available Today)

This retro throwback presents a clever blend of challenging bullet-hell twin stick shooters with action-adventure titles, like Nintendo’s own Legend of Zelda series. As a spaceship, explore a sandbox map, collect unique powers, and defeat powerful bosses across this unique journey.
The Midnight Walk (Nintendo Switch 2 | March 26, 2026)

In The Midnight Walk, explore a nightmarish world full of eerie entities moulded by a haunting, 3D storybook aesthetic. Outsmart monsters with your companion and use the many tools to attack and hide from them, while basking in a dark story teeming with oddball characters to meet.
Rotwood (Nintendo Switch 2 console exclusive | Available Today)

Don’t Starve developer Klei Entertainment is cooking up something exciting in the form of Rotwood, an all-new side-scroller hack & slash roguelite. Players can go at it solo or team up with their friends to defeat waves of foes and powerful bosse,s empowering themselves with distinct loot on the way. It is also a console exclusive launch for Nintendo Switch 2, playable today.
Mixtape (Nintendo Switch 2 | May 7, 2026)

Experience the last teenage night of three friends in Mixtape, a curated adventure that captures their memories across different adventures. From skating to escape the law, to soaring through the skies, each moment spent together is one to be cherished.
Blighted (Nintendo Switch 2 | Fall 2026)

From Guacamelee! developer Drinkbox Studios comes Blighted, an isometric Souls-like Metroidvania action-RPG shown at the latest Indie World Showcase. Reclaim the lost memories of your people in this psychedelic Western adventure and battle deadly and terrifying foes in challenging action combat.
Deadzone: Rogue (Nintendo Switch 2 | March 17, 2026)

Deadzone: Rogue is a sci-fi FPS roguelite, allowing players to take on waves of foes across an eeire space station. If they findthe challenge too daunting, co-op allows them to team up with friends to tackle powerful bosses and unlock permanent progression by defeating them.
Blue Prince (Nintendo Switch 2 | Available Today)


Last year’s critically acclaimed puzzle roguelite game Blue Prince is finally coming to Nintendo. Search through an ever-shifting mansion in the pursuit of the elusive Room 46. Manage resources, uncover secrets, and solve challenging puzzles, but be wary – as the mansion changes every day. As per the Indie World Showcase, the game is available to enjoy today on Nintendo Switch 2.
