Detectives in Los Angeles County are reaching out to the public for assistance in finding a suspect linked to the tragic murder of a 40-year-old woman. The victim was discovered shot to death last month in Lake Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has reported that the deceased, Elana “Rae” Kazanes, was found in a field close to 140th Street East and East Avenue E on February 19.
According to KCBS, Kazanes had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The sheriff’s department is urging anyone with information to reach out to Sgt. Giovanni Lampignano or Sgt. Marc Boskovich at (323) 890-5500.
