WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — The Pentagon has released the final two names of the six U.S. soldiers who tragically lost their lives in an attack in Kuwait. The soldiers hailed from California and Iowa, bringing a personal dimension to the national loss.

The soldiers named on Wednesday are Chief Warrant Officer 3 Robert Marzan, 54, from Sacramento, California, and Maj. Jeffrey O’Brien, 45, from Indianola, Iowa. Their identities add to the sorrow felt across the nation as communities mourn their fallen heroes.
