In a recent development, the woman linked to the scandal surrounding former University of Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore has departed from her role within the Wolverines’ athletic department. Her exit comes less than four months after the controversy catapulted her into the national headlines, as reported by TMZ Sports.
Paige Shiver, who was previously the executive assistant to Moore, has seen her contract with the university come to an end and is no longer part of the Ann Arbor institution. This information was confirmed by a spokesperson for the department on Wednesday.
Shiver, aged 32, was closely associated with Moore before his abrupt dismissal and subsequent arrest in December. The arrest stemmed from an incident in which Moore allegedly broke into Shiver’s apartment, armed himself with butter knives and kitchen scissors, and made threats of self-harm.
Notably, during her tenure, Shiver experienced a significant salary increase, jumping from $58,025 in 2024 to $90,000 in the past year. This pay raise occurred before their alleged relationship became public knowledge.
