Margarita Josephs, a well-known figure from the “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” prides herself on her transparency, especially when it comes to her personal confidence. At 58, she recently opened up about undergoing a cosmetic procedure she fondly refers to as a “nasal rejuvenation,” which she credits with significantly boosting her self-esteem.
Sharing her journey on Instagram, Josephs explained that she had never been self-conscious about her nose in her younger years. However, as she aged, changes in the cartilage led to a drooping tip and accentuated a slight bump, which began to bother her, particularly in photographs. She described the procedure as a “subtle refresh” that made a meaningful impact on how she felt about her appearance.
To achieve the desired outcome, Josephs turned to Dr. Gary Motykie, a plastic surgeon based in West Hollywood renowned for his expertise. Her goal was a minor adjustment to the tip of her nose to address the droopiness she had noticed.
Josephs is not alone in her openness about cosmetic enhancements. Fellow reality stars like Kyle Richards, Teresa Giudice, Brandi Glanville, and Tamra Barney have also been candid about their own experiences with procedures such as breast augmentations, chin implants, and liposuction.
“Now my nose fits my face so [perfectly] and no one can quite put their finger on why… not even my family members!” she gushed. “I am a huge advocate for doing what makes YOU happy and feel your best,” Josephs continued. “It made such a huge difference to me.”
Josephs quipped about “scaring small children” while recovering poolside at The Beverly Hills Hotel. “Ps I also [had] fat transfer and stem cells on my face so as you swipe you’ll see the swelling, don’t freak out it 😂 it was to restore volume in the face too.”

Josephs, who joined RHONJ during season 8, shared a “before” photo of her side profile, as well as a pic captured 24 hours after her rhinoplasty, stem cell treatment and fat transfer procedure. “I’ve got balls to walk around Beverly Hills like this,” she added in another slide with a laughing emoji.
She also uploaded a bruised and bandaged selfie while spending time at the luxury hotel. Her bandages came off on seven days post-op, on which day she gave an updated glimpse at her side profile.
Josephs was brimming with confidence eight weeks later in a photo captured during her high school reunion.

More recently, the reality star proudly showcased her refreshed look last month while attending a Broadway show in New York City.
Days later, Josephs shared a sweet message for husband Joe Benigno on February 14. “Stuck with me forever! Happy Valentine’s Day @therealsuperjoe,” she wrote. “Love you beyond words.”
