Scheana Shay has leveled accusations against Lisa Vanderpump, claiming that the reality TV star attempted to encourage Lala Kent to engage romantically with Tom Sandoval during the filming of the 11th season of Vanderpump Rules. Scheana alluded to a phone call between Lala and Lisa and shared how Lala reacted to the situation.

In a related note, former reality star Lisa Rinna has released a memoir in which she suggests that Vanderpump was instrumental in spreading the rumor that Yolanda Hadid was either feigning or exaggerating her battle with chronic Lyme disease. This accusation, often referred to as “Munchausen syndrome,” became a major plot point on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Vanderpump has faced similar allegations in the past, with claims of her orchestrating drama on Pump Rules.
On her podcast, Scheananigans, Scheana discussed Rinna’s book, as shared by @breakingtherulespodclips on Instagram. “I’ve just started it,” Scheana remarked. “I’m not that far into it yet, but I’ve come across several excerpts. Rinna stated her only regret from her time on Real Housewives was the Munchausen storyline with Yolanda. However, she does disclose the person she believes was behind that storyline.”
When asked about the identity of the individual, Scheana provided her insights.
Scheana was asked who it was.
“Who do you think?” said Scheana. “Someone else with the same name. … [Lisa Vanderpump.] The same person who allegedly pushed the Dorit dog storyline. The same person who tricked me into working a party at SUR one time.”
“The same person who tried to get Lala and Sandoval to hook up season 11,” she said. “Is that not public knowledge? … Yeah, for our Tahoe trip. [LVP] called Lala and suggested that. And Lala was like, ‘I would sleep with Ken before I would sleep with Tom.’”
In an excerpt of Rinna’s book, You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It, the star addressed her time on RHOBH.
“By the time I joined the show in season 5, [LVP] was already a producer on Vanderpump Rules so she knew the game better than anybody. I looked up to her, and I let her lead the way,” she said, via In Style. “Vanderpump’s an expert at manipulation—it’s why she makes such a good producer on her own show—she knows how to use other people like chess pieces. She spends every waking hour figuring out her next move.”
