Rob not only shaped our industry but also profoundly impacted the world around us by creating films that emphasized empathy and humor. He inspired us to be more daring, to take risks for love, and used his vast audience and storytelling prowess to defend democracy and stand in solidarity with his neighbors, both near and far.”
Sophia continued, “Even away from the spotlight, Rob was present. He was often the first to say yes to organizational efforts, consistently showing up on countless Zoom calls in support of causes striving to make the world a better place. He willingly shared his talents and gifts, always eager to serve others. In the years I’ve been fortunate to know him through these dedicated efforts, he has greatly influenced and inspired me for the better. I am utterly heartbroken by the deaths of him and Michele, and today, I hold his loved ones close to my heart.”
