NEW YORK — The Oscars represent a dazzling fusion of cinema and style, where exceptional talent is honored and unforgettable red carpet moments unfold.

These iconic events become part of history, immortalized through awards and the striking images captured on the red carpet.

Entertainment correspondent Joelle Garguilo delved into the behind-the-scenes preparations that stars undertake for a grand event like the Oscars.

Dr. Dendy Engelman from the Shafer Clinic revealed that she is currently assisting several Oscar attendees, having been engaged in intense preparations over the past six months.

“People are gearing up with body toning and skin tightening treatments,” Engelman explained, highlighting the meticulous efforts stars invest in their Oscar appearances.

She shared what her celebrity clientele say when they come to her.

“I need to look perfect without looking done, head to toe perfection, you would be shocked,” Engelman said.

As for the most requested treatment at the moment?

“The tight jawlines with the Everest, get them snatched and lifted, and the best thing is I can do it, and they can walk to get their makeup done right away,” said Lucia Miranda with Shafer Clinic.

As for the body, the team does muscle building and toning.

When it comes to the dress, long gone are the days of getting a gown off the rack.

Designers like Natalie De’Banco of Bronx & Banco work with celebrities and their stylists to create a custom look – often down to the last minute.

She has dressed the likes of Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and Miley Cyrus. When asked how long she typically has to prepare when working with a celebrity, she said a month if you are lucky.

“So if you came to me and you asked for a red carpet gown, that’s basically what we create,” she said.

As the pictures of the stars immediately pop up on social media, De’Banco said it’s marketing that you cannot buy.

In today’s digital age, you have to know how to make it all work when the cameras are flashing.

That’s where image consultant and posing instructor Britney Hayles comes in.

“Practice makes perfect,” Hayles said. “Looking at the cameras in front and to the side. And when you’re done posing, you have a little wave.”

And while some secrets are meant to be shared, one lesson to be learned is looking effortless certainly takes a lot of effort.
