On March 7, 2026, it was announced that Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has ended the collaboration between her lifestyle brand, As Ever, and Netflix.
Launched in 2025, As Ever initially benefited from Netflix’s support. However, the partnership has now officially concluded, allowing the brand to pursue its independent path.

A spokesperson for As Ever conveyed their gratitude to CNN, stating, “We appreciate Netflix’s support during our launch and throughout our first year.”
The spokesperson added, “As Ever has achieved significant and swift growth, and we are now prepared to operate independently. We have an exciting year ahead and look forward to sharing more with our audience.”
“We have experienced meaningful and rapid growth and As Ever is now ready to stand on its own. We have an exciting year ahead and can’t wait to share more.”
Netflix has also released a statement, confirming that it will cease to provide financial support to As Ever.
The streaming giant said: “Meghan’s passion for elevating everyday moments in beautiful yet simple ways inspired the creation of the As Ever brand, and we are glad to have played a role in bringing that vision to life.
“As it was always intended, Meghan will continue growing the brand and take it into its next chapter independently, and we look forward to celebrating how she continues to bring joy to households around the world.”
Meanwhile, Ted Sarandos, the CEO of Netflix, previously claimed that the Duchess is “underestimated in terms of her influence on culture”.
The royal has starred in the Netflix series Harry and Meghan and With Love, Meghan, and Ted believes the public are “fascinated” by the duchess.
Speaking to Variety in 2025, Ted explained: “I think Meghan is underestimated in terms of her influence on culture.
“When we dropped the trailer for the ‘Harry and Meghan’ doc series, everything on-screen was dissected in the press for days. The shoes she was wearing sold out all over the world. The Hermes blanket that was on the chair behind her sold out everywhere in the world.
“People are fascinated with Meghan Markle. She and Harry are overly dismissed.”
