Hassie Harrison is making waves as she heads to the beach in her latest role.

The former Yellowstone star has signed on for Fox’s eagerly anticipated Baywatch reboot, bringing another notable name to the already impressive cast list. Harrison joins the ranks alongside Stephen Amell, Jessica Belkin, David Chokachi, and Thaddeus LaGrone, each adding their own flair to the series.

Harrison will take on the role of Nat, a character described as a “former foster child who rose to become an Olympic athlete. Nat epitomizes lifeguarding excellence. She is intelligent, driven, and unwaveringly loyal, serving as Hobie’s right-hand companion and closest confidante. Her own high expectations sometimes create hurdles in her personal and professional relationships.”

Over the years, Harrison has been building a diverse portfolio. Her recent work includes the thriller Dangerous Animals, along with upcoming projects like the modern Western thriller The Rescue, the neo-noir Deep Eddy, and the suspenseful Raven. On Yellowstone, she portrayed the character Laramie, a barrel racer, across three seasons. Her other appearances include HBO’s It’s Florida, Man and Shane Gillis’ Netflix comedy series Tires.

The revamped Baywatch is set to debut on Fox in the 2026–2027 television season. Leading the cast is Amell as Hobie Buchannon, son of the original show’s Mitch Buchannon. Belkin is cast as Charlie Vale, while Chokachi returns to his iconic role as Cody Madison. LaGrone will bring to life the character of Brad.

According to the show’s logline, “The wild child Hobie Buchannon we all loved from the original series is now a Baywatch captain, following in the footsteps of his legendary father, Mitch. Hobie’s world is turned upside down when Charlie, the daughter he never knew, shows up on his doorstep, eager to carry on the Buchannon family legacy and become a Baywatch lifeguard alongside her dad. OG heartthrob Cody Madison now runs The Shoreline, the unofficially official Baywatch bar-and-grill, and still puts on the red trunks for the occasional shift saving lives. He’s a mentor to and a friend, providing a second home for his fellow lifeguards… and always offering free wings after a big save.”

Fox originally handed the reboot a 12-episode order in September 2025. Matt Nix serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside McG, Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto, and Mike Horowitz. McG is also set to direct the premiere episode.

The series is co-produced by Fox Entertainment and Fremantle. Fox Entertainment Global will handle domestic distribution, while Fremantle oversees international sales.

Harrison is represented by Gersh, Range Media Partners, and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole.
