Shannon Beador, known for her role on Real Housewives of Orange County, has responded firmly to allegations made by Rodrigo Reyes during BravoCon. She clarified her side of the story while Jeff Lewis shared his own account of the events.
Rodrigo, a cast member from Southern Charm, recently appeared on Watch What Happens Live where he labeled Shannon as the most unpleasant person at the event. Describing her behavior as “very rude” and “condescending,” he alleged that Shannon was making disparaging comments. Rodrigo’s fiancé, Tyler Dugas, added that Shannon was upset about Rodrigo and Salley Carson having a more favorable position in a fan area.
In response, Jeff Lewis brought up these claims on his show, Jeff Lewis Live, to get Shannon’s perspective.
“He mentioned that you were among the rudest individuals he encountered at BravoCon,” Jeff remarked.
“I heard that,” said Shannon. “First of all, no offense to Rodrigo: I have no idea who he is. And I was sent that clip, and I had [my daughter] Sophie with me. … Sophie said, ‘Mom, we were never even with him.’ Like he said I was whispering about him and throwing a fit. … I did my job and I was kind to everybody at BravoCon.”
“He said that you might have complained about a better position in the fan room,” Jeff added.
“The only thing that we improved, Jeff, was when you and I did the photo op. The lighting was horrible,” she explained. “So we had someone hold a light up because people wanted to get a good picture. So we actually made it better [for the fans].”
Jeff confirmed that this is what he and Shannon were “complain[ing]” about at BravoCon.
“Because the lighting was terrible,” said Jeff. “It was horrible. The pictures were terrible. We complained about the lighting, and then you and I stood off the stage, and people were loving the pictures because of it. So that’s the only time I felt like we were remotely disruptive.”
“But I wasn’t rude about it,” said Shannon. “[What Rodrigo said] did hurt my feelings because it’s like, gosh, I go out of my way to be kind to everyone … but I don’t know who [Rodrigo] is.”
“Maybe he thought you were talking about him, but you weren’t talking about him,” said Jeff. “I’m sure we were talking s**t about somebody.”
