A 30-year-old woman has been taken into custody following a dramatic shooting incident at the Los Angeles residence of pop sensation Rihanna. At the time of the unsettling event, the singer was reportedly at home, according to sources. The arrest was made in connection with the gunfire that shocked the quiet Beverly Crest neighborhood.

The Los Angeles Police Department responded to the scene on Heather Road around 1:15 p.m. on a Sunday after receiving reports of gunshots. Officers quickly descended upon the area to investigate the alarming situation, as confirmed by police officials to KTLA.

Witnesses described the terrifying moment when approximately 10 shots were fired from a vehicle. The car had either paused or parked across the street from the luxurious mansion, shared by Rihanna, her partner, rapper ASAP Rocky, and their five children. This chilling detail was reported by the Los Angeles Times.

Tragically, at least one bullet managed to penetrate the wall of the residence, adding to the gravity of the situation. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the incident has sparked concern and heightened security measures in the affluent area.

The suspect, who has not been identified, reportedly fled south on Coldwater Canyon Drive in a white Tesla.

Investigators contacted the reporting party and were able to obtain information on the suspect, who was arrested without incident a short time later.

A weapon was recovered during the arrest, police told KTLA.
