Wondering when to tune in for the Oscars? Here’s the essential information on the 2026 Academy Awards schedule and how to stream the event live online.
When Are The Oscars?
Mark your calendars for next week! The Oscars will be broadcast on Sunday, March 15, on both ABC and Hulu.
What Time Do The 2026 Oscars Start?
Good news, early birds! The Oscars start an hour early this year, with the ceremony beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET.
E! Live from the Red Carpet starts at 4:00 p.m. ET, and On the Red Carpet at the Oscars begins at 3:30 p.m. ET on Hulu.
How To Watch The Oscars Online:
If you have a valid cable login, you can watch the Oscars live on ABC or the ABC app/website. For the first time, the Academy Awards are also streaming live on Hulu.
If you’re new to Hulu, you can get started with a 30-day free trial on the streamer’s basic (with ads) plan. After the trial period, you’ll pay $10.99/month. If you want to upgrade to Hulu ad-free, it costs $18.99/month.
If you want to stream even more and save a few bucks a month while you’re at it, we recommend subscribing to one of the Disney+ Bundles, all of which include Hulu. These bundles start at $12.99/month for ad-supported Disney+ and Hulu and goes up to $32.99/month for Disney+, Hulu, and Max, all ad-free.
Additional Oscars 2026 Streaming Options:
The only way to watch shows airing live without cable is by using a live TV streaming service. Our favorite is DIRECTV, which comes with a five-day free trial before payment begins.
DIRECTV offers a number of flexible subscription options, including Genre Packs, so you can best choose which streaming plans fit your needs and budget. Plans start at $49.99/month.
You can also watch ABC live or on demand with an active subscription to fuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, or Sling TV.
Enjoy the show!
