Fans of matchmaking delight will be thrilled to know that everyone’s beloved matchmaker is making her return to KISS for one last hurrah in her senior year. However, this time, she’s not going it alone.
The latest trailer for Season 3 of XO, Kitty offers a glimpse into Kitty Song Covey’s (played by Anna Cathcart) potentially final year in Seoul. Equipped with her “Senior Sunset List,” Kitty has a packed agenda, which includes deciding on which colleges to apply to, celebrating the traditional Korean holiday Chuseok with her family, and, most importantly, figuring out her relationship status with Min Ho (Sang Heon Lee).
The trailer’s most thrilling moment comes with the surprise arrival of Lara Jean (Lana Condor) flying in to Seoul to support her younger sister!
Kitty, clearly in need of a pep talk, is caught off guard when she finds Lara Jean in her dorm room. “Tell me everything… after you’ve taken a shower,” Lara Jean advises with a sisterly hug, ready to hear Kitty’s troubles.
This marks Lana Condor’s much-anticipated return to Jenny Han’s universe, following her starring role in the beloved To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before film series.
“It’s such a joy to be able to come back and see Anna,” Condor told Netflix’s Tudum. “I think she did an amazing job creating the XO, Kitty world. It’s such a dream to be able to work with her again. I feel really excited and happy and honored I get to be back.”
Lara Jean is the latest star from the franchise to visit Kitty. Last season, both Janel Parrish‘s Margot Song Covey and Noah Centineo’s Peter Kavinsky had some sage advice for this matchmaker when they stopped by KISS.
Netflix confirmed Condor will be appearing in multiple episodes this season, which means viewers will get plenty of sisterly bonding time.
The new season of XO, Kitty premieres on Netflix April 2.
All eight episodes of the new series will drop at once.
