Authorities are revisiting the isolated South Australian residence of missing four-year-old Gus Lamont in search of clues, over 160 days since his disappearance.
Officers from South Australia Police have returned to the Oak Park Station homestead, where Gus’s family resides, to further their investigation efforts.
This homestead is situated approximately 43 kilometers south of Yunta in South Australia.
Members of Task Force Horizon are set to examine various sites on the property for any evidence connected to Gus’s case.
SA Police have stated they will issue updates as the investigation progresses.
Police have repeatedly said Gus’s parents are not suspects.
No evidence of Gus has been uncovered despite extensive searches of the property, which Detective Superintendent Darren Fielke said has been the “largest and most intensive” missing person search ever undertaken by SA Police.
The four-year-old was last seen playing on a dirt mound at Oak Park Station around 5pm on September 27.
Nearly six months later, his whereabouts are still unknown.
