Unveiling Ghislaine Maxwell’s Controversial ‘Female Empowerment’ Classes Behind Bars

In a surprising twist, Ghislaine Maxwell is now using steamy romance films to educate fellow inmates on female empowerment at the Federal Prison Camp Bryan, as exclusively reported by the Daily Mail. Known for her past involvement with Jeffrey Epstein, the 64-year-old has taken on the role of a prison educator, where she demands to be addressed as ‘Miss Maxwell.’

Maxwell’s teaching program encompasses a variety of topics, including foundational writing skills, personal finance management, and developing a positive mindset. Despite the serious nature of these subjects, it’s the allure of watching provocative films like “Redeeming Love” and “Indecent Proposal” that truly captivates the inmates, drawing them to her classes.

According to an insider from the all-female Texas facility, these film screenings have become the highlight of her curriculum, sparking significant interest among the prisoners. “The movies have set pulses racing throughout the camp. There’s a line of people waiting to sign up,” the source shared with the Daily Mail.

But according to a source inside the all-female Texas lockup, it’s the promise of watching raunchy flicks like Redeeming Love and Indecent Proposal that has her fellow cons flocking to join.

‘The movies have set pulses racing throughout the camp. There’s a line of people waiting to sign up,’ a source told the Daily Mail.

Maxwell’s classes are part of the camp’s Adult Continuing Education program, a series of prisoner-led lessons to promote personal development and life skills.

Take-up was slow, with most inmates resentful of the disgraced socialite who was transferred to Bryan last August after a mysterious sit-down interview with the Justice Department to discuss Jeffrey Epstein.

Minimum security prisons typically house low-risk criminals rather than sex offenders like Maxwell, who is serving 20 years for grooming young girls for her financier ex, who killed himself in 2019 while awaiting trial.

Sources say inmates have flocked to Maxwell's class after she announced they would watch 1993 romance film Indecent Proposal, starring Demi Moore and Robert Redford, as part of a lesson on relationships

Sources say inmates have flocked to Maxwell’s class after she announced they would watch 1993 romance film Indecent Proposal, as well 2022 movie Redeeming Love, as part of a lesson on relationships

A paltry three students attended her first ACE class, according to our source, where they were asked to write an inspirational letter to themselves – beginning ‘Why I am Special.’

But a dozen cons packed into the next day’s session after Maxwell revealed it would involve watching Redeeming Love, a 2022 Western-inspired drama with multiple sex scenes.

Demand for places was said to be even higher when she announced the next movie would be the raunchy 1993 classic, Indecent Proposal.

It tells the story of a playboy billionaire (Robert Redford) willing to pay $1 million to sleep with a beautiful married woman (Demi Moore).

‘The idea behind it is that you watch the movie and put yourself in the shoes of the female character,’ the source explained.

‘Afterwards you discuss it and write in your journal about the choices they made and what they could have done differently.

‘It’s a self-help exercise. But, of course, the prospect of earning credits while watching great movies is just too good to miss.’

Maxwell – federal inmate 02879-509 – has kept a low profile since arriving at Bryan, regarded as one of the cushier facilities in the country, according to our source.

She teaches in the education department from 8am until 3pm before heading to the indoor recreation room for a run on the treadmill.

The privately-educated Oxford graduate typically eats breakfast among the general prison population, picking at fruit while giving away her grits or oats, but rarely appears for lunch or dinner.

She sleeps in a small cubicle comprising four beds in a two-story housing block with 48 prisoners on each level.

One of the beds is usually kept empty, leaving three inmates to share the three-sided living space.

Violence is virtually unheard of inside the 37-acre compound which accommodates 635 women, mostly serving sentences of under five years.

‘People resent the fact she’s here but they will ship you out just for having an argument. Nobody wants none of that,’ the source explained.

‘There are a lot of women from other countries who don’t know anything about Jeffrey Epstein. Others who barely went to school.

‘They are just eager to learn from someone who is so well educated and knowledgeable. And Miss Maxwell is really a good teacher. She’s sweet and has a lot of patience.’

Things were starkly different at FCI Tallahassee, the dilapidated Florida lockup where Maxwell was incarcerated for three years after her 2022 conviction on multiple counts of child sex trafficking.

There, she was bullied by inmates, badgered about her personal hygiene and even thrown in solitary confinement for giving an unapproved media interview.

Maxwell’s fortunes improved dramatically when she was let out of jail last July to speak with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche amid intense pressure on President Donald Trump to release the Epstein Files.

Prison Bureau brass never provided an explanation for Maxwell’s unexpected transfer just days later to Bryan.

Her attorney, David Oscar Markus, has insisted the move was made on safety grounds, not because of favoritism or any imminent prospect of a presidential pardon.

Behind the scenes Maxwell couldn’t hide her glee, writing to a family member: ‘I feel like I have dropped through Alice in Wonderland’s looking glass.’

She went on to praise Bryan as orderly, safe and comfortable in correspondence obtained last year by NBC.

‘The kitchen looks clean too,’ raved Maxwell. ‘No possums falling from the ceiling to fry unfortunately on ovens and become mingled with the food being served.’

Markus has previously said Maxwell – due for release in July 2037 – is ‘innocent and never should have been tried, much less convicted, in this case.’

The Daily Mail has reached out to him for comment on her new teaching job.
