In a disturbing incident at a California park, an 11-year-old girl was assaulted and subjected to racial insults by a group of students.

The young girl, whose identity has not been disclosed, was cycling home through Poinsettia Park after school on February 26 when she was accosted by several students. They encircled her, bombarding her with racial epithets and even slapping her, according to a report by NBC San Diego.

In a video of the incident, one male student can be heard provocatively shouting, ‘Don’t be a b**ch, just f**king hit her,’ urging violence.

The students from Aviara Oaks Middle School verbally assaulted the girl, who remained seated on her electric bike, with derogatory terms including the n-word and ‘b**ch.’

The same boy, blocking her path, can be heard instructing others to ‘Just slap her and then go home.’

‘Just f**king do it!’ a second boy, who was off-camera, said. ‘Someone get behind her,’ he instructed.

‘Literally all you do is get off, punch her a few times, and when she gets to the ground, run,’ the first boy instructed as he stood firmly planted at her front wheel.

‘And if [the student] loses, and she gets anyone on you, she only has like two friends.’

The female student then looks behind her, only to find another student blocking her bike’s path, leaving her stranded in the middle of the taunting group.

Moments later, the first boy then admitted that the group’s interaction with the girl ‘feels really f**king racist right now. We’re ganging up on a black person.’

‘Shut up,’ a female student told him.

The boy then told the student: ‘Why don’t you hit her then?’

The second male student continuously called the girl a ‘b**ch’ while she sat silently on her bike.

The girl eventually backed her bike out of the way once the person behind her left, but the first boy grabbed the front basket of her bike and pulled her back, stating: ‘Whoa, whoa, whoa!’

Seconds later, the other girl – who is white – slapped her across the face, causing her head to turn.

The black student then got off her bike and hit the other girl back, leading to an altercation where they repeatedly slapped each other’s heads.

The video cut out as the first boy, who had repeatedly encouraged the other girl to hit the student, began screaming for her to stop.

The girl’s mother, April Amor, told NBC San Diego that she was proud of her daughter.

‘I told my daughter, you don’t start fights, but you better finish them. And I’m proud. I’m proud of how she conducted herself,’ she said.

The mother said she wants ‘justice for my daughter,’ who was racially profiled in a town where only one percent of the population is black.

‘It’s out in the open, and we’re not going to let it go away,’ she told the outlet. ‘I’m not going to let it go away.’

The kids involved reportedly left the girl apology notes on her doorstep the next day, the mother said.

‘But that’s not enough. They need to be prosecuted. I want to see justice for my daughter and for all of the other children who have suffered the same type of treatment,’ she told NBC San Diego.

The Carlsbad Police Department, as well as the school district, is investigating the matter.

‘The Carlsbad Police Department and Carlsbad Unified School District take incidents involving accusations of bullying, harassment, and discriminatory language that may be deemed as a hate crime seriously,’ a joint statement said.

‘We are committed to ensuring all members of our community, especially students, feel safe and respected.’

Hundreds of parents from across the county and Los Angeles came to the school board meeting to support the 11-year-old, which Amor appreciated.

Despite that, the mother has decided to remove her daughter from the school and told NBC San Diego she will be homeschooling the student.

The Daily Mail has contacted the school, Amor, and the Carlsbad Police Department for comment.
