According to insiders, Henderson claims that ARN unjustly ended her contract and failed to present her with an alternative show opportunity.
Nine.com.au has reached out to both ARN Media and Henderson’s representatives for their side of the story.
In a statement last week, Henderson clarified that she neither quit nor resigned from the Kyle and Jackie O Show following an on-air dispute with co-host Kyle Sandilands.
“In recent days, there’s been rampant speculation and incorrect information regarding my exit from the show,” Henderson stated, as conveyed by her manager, Gemma O’Neill.
“I want to unequivocally state: I did not quit or resign,” she emphasized.
“I am deeply saddened by the events of the past week and the possibility of the show ending. This has come as a shock to me, as it has to everyone else,” she said.
In addition to Henderson’s departure, ARN also announced that Sandilands could be out of the job if he does not prove within 14 days that he did not breach his contract for an alleged “act of serious misconduct” on that fateful show.
Sandilands denied breaching his contract in a statement released earlier this week.
Henderson and Sandilands were little more than a year into their fresh contracts with ARN, reported to be worth $100 million each over 10 years.
