During the interview, she also provided an update on her friendship with Jennifer Tilly, 67, and addressed rumors about Dorit Kemsley, 49, and Rachel Zoe, 54, only speaking to each other. Sutton, 54, shared her suspicion that she might find the upcoming Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion “boring.” Additionally, she explained why she chose to room with Amanda Frances, 41, in Italy and confirmed that she and Garcelle, 59, have remained estranged since their falling out at last year’s reunion.

“Unfortunately, I haven’t [spoken to her], and it’s a broken friendship that I deeply regret,” Sutton admitted during the March 12 episode of Housewives Nightcap. “I think about it often and would love to mend things. But you have to move forward. I’m sorry for my mistakes and hope [we’ll reconcile in the future].”

Reflecting on her past disagreement with Jennifer during season 15, which stemmed from comments Jennifer made regarding Sutton’s issues with Garcelle, Sutton noted that the tension between them was resolved “quickly.”

Looking back on the tiff she and Jennifer had amid season 15, which came due to comments Jennifer made about Sutton’s drama with Garcelle, Sutton confirmed the tension between them came and went “quick.”

“We’ve been friends a very long time. It happens. It had never happened to us before. It was odd, but we’re fine now,” she revealed.

As for her relationship with Dorit, Sutton admitted the two of them just can’t get on the same page.

“Dorit and I can’t help each other. We can’t help it. We’re just too easy … I try to stay calm. I don’t know. It is like the 10th mystery of the world. I don’t know what it is with us, I wish it weren’t so,” she stated.

Regarding Kyle Richards‘ suggestion that Dorit was acting “erratic” during the season, Sutton suggested that any questionable behavior her co-star was exhibiting was the result of her messy divorce from Paul “PK” Kemsley, 58.

“I look back when I was getting divorced. I was all over the place, and I had a hard time getting out of bed. There was no way I could have been on a television show. Just no way. I was fraught with depression,” she shared. “If you’re going through a divorce, you work it out in different ways, so I can’t put too much judgment on Dorit because I think this divorce is taking its toll on her.”

That said, Sutton admitted that Dorit “could be a bit more on time.”

“To me, it’s kind of comical. How is it possible for one person to be this late all the time? But you know, I don’t care. I gave up caring … The one time it does bother me is this week in Italy … we’re waiting to do something special,” she explained.

After sharing that she felt that Rachel was a “great” addition to the RHOBH cast since “she gives a different perspective because she hasn’t been around this group of women,” Sutton refuted the suggestion that she and Dorit weren’t speaking to the rest of the cast.

“I’m talking to Rachel,” she confirmed.

Looking ahead to the reunion, Sutton said she felt “pretty good.”

“I have some things to talk about. I’m sure people have some things to address with me, but I’m not in the hot seat, I don’t think. That’s different for me … I might get bored. I like to get in the action,” she noted.

Moving on to Amanda, Sutton confessed to having questions about why she chose to room with her in Italy before sharing that she didn’t want to see her left out.

“I was leaving a night earlier, so I just figured, I’m not gonna be there all of the nights, so I’ll take this one. I just felt like we can’t have Amanda on this trip be so isolated,” she explained. “It just didn’t feel right to me. It’s not because I liked her. I wasn’t ga-ga crazy over her, but I didn’t want to see her cast out.”

“It didn’t mean I wanted to be her best friend, but I didn’t want to watch it. I’ve been in this group sometimes where I have felt very alone, and it sucks, so why not?” she continued. “There was nothing insidious about it. There was no plan of attack. It was nothing like that … I think [the cast] thought it was up to something, and it’s rather insulting to my integrity. I can be nice without wanting anything in exchange.”

Going into the trip, Sutton hoped to learn more about Amanda.

“‘Maybe in the room during downtime, she’s not talking about her business.’ [But] her downtime is when she talks about her business. I don’t know if this is proper to say, but I did hear her talk to her family, and that was quite nice,” she acknowledged. “I would even say hi to her [fiance Eddie], and he’s so nice. So there were little moments like that that I got to be kind of privy to that were good.”

After proclaiming that Amanda was definitely “annoying,” Sutton argued that she is “not bad.”

“The girl’s annoying. She talks about her business too much. But she doesn’t have a bad bone in her body,” she stated.

As for whether or not Amanda should return for season 16, Sutton said, “If she can retire her business, I think it would be interesting.”

Sutton then spoke of her dating life, which “comes and goes.”

“Sometimes I feel like it, and sometimes I don’t. I’m not really tortured by the idea of living alone. It’s not my favorite thing, but I’m not desperate to find a partner,” she explained. “I did go on a date last week in New York. He was cute, nice, charming. [Then] we went on a second date. So that was nice. He lives in New York, but I can bounce back and forth. I have a great apartment in New York, so I like going there, and I feel very confident when I’m in New York and have a lot of friends. So it’s nice to have both worlds.”

“I’d like to have a boyfriend, but a boyfriend in New York sounds pretty good, and then I can go back and be by myself,” she added.

According to Sutton, season 15 of RHOBH was “different” than her past seasons on the show.

“It’s different for me not to be the one that’s causing all the problems,” she noted. “I don’t go into any season thinking, ‘This is my game plan.’ Maybe I should have. But no, I hit my reset button, and I knew how I was changing just in my inter-reaction with people, so it didn’t matter if it was a cast member, just a friend, or a family member. I had really kind of reset that button within myself, so I just extended it when we had cameras around and just kind of hoped that the women would be open to that. [And] I think they were.”

While Sutton noted that Dorit was more reluctant to get on board with the new Sutton, she admitted that was “fair.”

“I don’t know if I trust you either. But let’s at least have our line of communication open,” she reasoned.

“I had some big surprises this season with friendships, so I thought all in all, I’ve watched it back and thought, ‘this is good,’” Sutton continued. “I think it’s interesting because it’s not different. It might just be better. We can all evolve as people, and we caught me six years ago in a very different place, and a lot has changed, and my life in that place when we started was pretty scary. So I was different. My evolution has come through all of that. So maybe I’m different. Maybe I’m the same. Maybe I’m better. Maybe I’ve gone back to who I once was a long time ago. Whatever it is, I think it’s better.”

Also on the podcast, Sutton offered a life update.

“It’s been an interesting season, and I think an interesting year, in general, for me,” she shared. “I have my son home. My middle son’s home with me for spring break. So that’s always nice. My business is going well. So I feel really good … I think that my life is pretty calm. It’s very peaceful at my house, which is very nice.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 airs Thursdays at 8/cc on Bravo.
