Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz are beaming with pride as their son, Egypt Dean, reaches an exciting new chapter in his basketball journey.
At just 15 years old, Egypt has taken a significant step by committing to play for Team Soldiers in the prestigious Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL), recognized as one of the top youth basketball circuits in the nation.
The news was shared with fans via social media, featuring a vibrant graphic emblazoned with the word “COMMITTED.” The image showcased Egypt in his basketball gear, highlighting his role as a guard. The post quickly garnered attention and heartfelt messages of support from family and admirers alike.
Swizz Beatz, proud of his son’s achievement, reshared the commitment announcement on Instagram. He encouraged Egypt to remain dedicated to his passion for basketball.
“Keep on going, KING, and stay committed to your craft no matter what!! We love you,” he expressed.
Alicia Keys also showed support in the comments, writing, “Discipline and Grit!!!!!!!.”
Egypt’s commitment to basketball has been years in the making, and his parents have previously spoken about the dedication they have watched develop over time.
In a birthday post shared last year, Swizz Beatz reflected on watching his son grow both on and off the court.
