Police have unveiled fresh CCTV footage related to the tragic case of Chris Baghsarian, an 85-year-old grandfather from Sydney, who was abducted and murdered earlier this year.
Baghsarian vanished from his home in North Ryde on February 13 in what investigators are now considering a case of mistaken identity. His remains were tragically discovered 11 days later near a golf club in Pitt Town, located in north-western Sydney.
In connection with this harrowing incident, two individuals, Daniel Stevens, 24, and Gerard Andrews, 29, have been apprehended and charged. They are currently facing the judicial process.
As part of their ongoing investigation, police have released CCTV footage capturing three additional individuals who could potentially provide valuable information.
Police today released CCTV of an additional three men who may be able to help with inquiries.
The men are captured on CCTV walking towards the kidnapper’s stronghold on Wildthorn Avenue in Dural on the night of the kidnapping.
The next day (Saturday February 14), a blue Hyundai Sedan is seen arriving and then leaving the same property just after 12pm.
The car is missing a hubcap on its left side.
Anyone with information about the identity of the men captured in the CCTV or the driver of the blue car is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
