“I want to assure everyone that all individuals there are unharmed,” he stated.
“The incident led to minor damage at a lodging facility and a medical center due to a small fire sparked by the projectile that struck a road leading to the base,” he explained.
“I have been in communication with the defense minister, and it is crucial to acknowledge that the Iranian regime is conducting seemingly indiscriminate assaults across the Gulf region,” he added.
Al Minhad Air Base, situated approximately 24 kilometers from Dubai’s center, has repeatedly been a target of Iranian drones and missiles since the conflict began earlier this month.
Currently, around 100 Australian military personnel are stationed in the Middle East.
There were no injuries on that strike, which happened just a day after Iran began to launch strikes towards American installations in the Middle East in response to strikes that killed their Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on March 3.
