A night out in Hollywood turned unexpectedly violent for Marty York, the actor from “The Sandlot,” when he was caught on camera involved in a brawl outside a well-known Los Angeles nightclub.

TMZ released footage showing the 43-year-old actor, recognized for his portrayal of Alan “Yeah-Yeah” McClennan in the beloved 1993 film, engaged in a fight with another individual on Saturday night near the Warwick nightclub along Sunset Boulevard.

The confrontation seemingly began on the sidewalk but quickly escalated, spilling into a nearby parking garage where the two continued their scuffle amidst parked vehicles.

In the clip, York is seen trading punches while also taking hits to the face. As the fight intensifies, he is shirtless, with both participants appearing to struggle to maintain their balance during the altercation.

The other man in the fight is briefly sent off-kilter and hits the ground after delivering a flurry of punches.

York described the incident as an act of self-defense, telling TMZ, “Some unknown individual charged at me, and I had to defend myself.”

The chaotic scene unfolded in public, with onlookers nearby as the fight continued.

Despite the physical nature of the clash, authorities were not contacted, and no arrests were reported.

The circumstances leading up to the confrontation remain unclear, and York has not issued any additional statements.

The former child star rose to fame as part of the ensemble cast of “The Sandlot.”

He also appeared in additional 1990s TV series, including “Saved by the Bell: The College Years,” “Boy Meets World,” “Sliders” and “Hey Arnold!”

In 2017, York appeared in an episode of the Showtime series “SMILF.”
