TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WFLA) — Florida’s Attorney General’s Office has stepped into the probe concerning “Sloth World” after a shocking report emerged, indicating that numerous sloths destined for the Orlando-based attraction perished in a chilly warehouse environment.

The report from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission highlighted that 31 sloths met their demise at the facility between December 2024 and February 2025. The deaths were likely attributed to disease and exposure to cold temperatures, conditions that sloths cannot survive.
