The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating a burglary that occurred in the early hours of Monday morning in Oconee, Illinois. Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying those responsible for the crime.
The incident took place at approximately 3:45 a.m. at the Oconee Mini Mart. According to a post on the Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page, two individuals broke into the establishment, causing damage to the gaming machines and making off with various items, the specifics of which have not been disclosed.
